The Cheetah and the Lion

Georgie the lion cub grew up in an area of Africa where there were both a few trees and lots of open space. His Dad was the family's leader, which included many other kids, Georgie’s Mom, and several aunts, each of whom had their own kids.

Georgie was playing in the grass with a ball of mud he found, batting it back and forth. The sun felt so nice on his back, but he knew it would get hot before too long.
Suddenly, Georgie heard a whooshing sound and then found himself rolling like the ball he had been playing with. What was that?
Georgie picked himself off the ground and looked behind him. All he could see was a lot of dust and dirt that was kicked up. Hmmm.
Georgie went back to playing with his ball. He couldn’t think of what had knocked him over. “Oh well,” Georgie thought, “it’s probably my imagination.”
A few minutes went by and Georgie heard the whooshing sound again. Oh no! It was back! Georgie balled himself up so he wouldn’t fall down again. Just then, the whooshing stopped.
“Hey there,” said a voice. “Did I knock you over before?”
